Meinong Lake, originally known as Jhongjun Pi, is located at the northeast side of Meinong along Mincuan Road. It expands to an area of around 21 hectares and has a capacity to store water for irrigation of over 130 hectares of farmland. It is now ranked as the No. 2 largest manmade lake after Kaohsiung County's Chengching Lake. The beautiful scenery of this lake make it a great recreation facility with the added function of a fish pond. The lake leans against a backdrop of mountains at the northwest side and is surrounded by farmlands the other three sides. Lake water reflect the lush greenery of the mountains, turning this lake a serene place for a leisure moment. In 2016, this lake was renamed as the Meinong Lake.
